    Minnie was most definitely unsung. She seemed such a beautiful spirit, outer an inner. It so horrible that her life ended too soon, especially when she was healthy and slim. Cancer is such a scary disease. I just hope her family is well.

    Wow. I am 19 and new of Minnie and her story via my mother. But, I never knew that from the beginning of her battle, they told her it didn’t look good, nor did she have long to live.

    I learned alot about her watching ‘unsung.’ Didn’t know Maya R. was her daughter. So sad about her death.

    It looks GREAT!! Nope, Charter Communications doesn’t have TV ONE. I’m bummed.

    The documentary on Minnie was good!!! Two thumbs up!!! I thought everybody had TVone. Its even on basic cable!!!

    I really really wish I could see this but TVOne does not come on my cable provider so I’m actually just down about not seeing it because I’m a big fan.

    This brought tears to my eyes. I remember when I heard that Ms. Rippleton had passed away. I was a young girl but still felt so much sadness in learning that this beautiful talent had succumbed to breast cancer. Dare I ask if we will ever find a cure to this type of cancer?

    Sandra’s voice is sooo similar to Minnie’s! I’m impressed, i thought it was Minnie’s voice!!
