And now, as of 9/25/09, they have confirmed 7 more cases. For this to be even a question of the Marine Corps if it should be taking care of these patriots is deplorable. Yet we can spend money to bail out thieves, and this is what we do for our heroes. This disgust me to my core, I want to PUKE!! No matter if this illness comes from Martians, alligator meat, standing out in the rain, green paint, butt fucking, or poison water, they deserve the best.

@816Cameron — I could not have said it better. WHO GIVES A SHIT what caused their cancer. If we can give billions to wall street, NOTHING has a credible argument for not standing up and doing the right thing for these marines.

I totally agree, the healthcare provided for our Vets is less than honorable or acceptable. I lived on this base during the early 70’s with parents and siblings and had never heard anything about this until now, its really scary to think we drank this water and even scarier to think that those who knew then and now will not take responsibility and make right what they have done to so many families. Our family has never been notified of such a problem or ever been offered any testing.
